In 2012 for the first time the Festival concerts will take place in six different venues across the region :
The traditional Festival main venue - Festival Arena in Billingham Town Centre will host spectacular Opening and Closing Ceremonies, daily concerts and Farewell Gala,
Middlesbrough Theatre will host special performance - International Carousel,The Magical Voyage through Paradise and Gala Night
Forum Theatre, which re-opened in Spetember 2012, will host the traditional Festival Gala Night
Arc Arts Centre in Stockton will showcase the contemporary dance productions based on multi-cultural roots and will host Salsa Night and Strictly Scottish Night
MIMA in Middlesbrough for the first time will showcase triple-bill by Keneish Dance, combining visual arts and dance under its roof
Dance City in Newcastle - for the first time Billingham Festival will be taken beyond Tees Valley to Newcastle, where four of the International Dance Companies will spend a day doing workshops, which will culminate in World Dance Gala.
